“Yesterday evening, and you were busy at a business party.” This time William answered him
“Ooh yes, yes.”
“Steve, you should be polite with her and don’t hit on her.”
It shocked Steve to hear such words."
“Come on, mom, I don’t need to do anything. You don’t even notice what effect I have on girls. You know, first, when they meet me, first they squeal in joy, and some even jump in excitement.”
“Trust me, Steve, Eva will not do any sort of that, “Rose commented

Their conversation halts when Eva enters the dining room. She wished good morning to the Smith couple, and Steve was sure that she didn’t notice him yet. But Steve admired the beauty standing in front of her. She was wearing a simple pair of jeans and a top; she wasn’t wearing any makeup, and she didn't even need it as she was simply beautiful. While Eva can feel his eyes on her, which made her more uncomfortable
Rose introduces Eva to Steve. "Eva, dear, meet my younger son, Steve."
Eva glanced at him, as till now she ignored his presence and muttered a small hello without a smile on her face. Steve looked at her in surprise but still replied to her hello. On the other side, Rose chuckled and William also smiled. Rose was very sure that Eva was going to behave like this only.
Chapter 5. In wrong room
The entire breakfast time Steve was observing Eva. He was still in the chance that she would steal some glances at him, as he boosted his ego by guessing her to be a nervous girl. But to his disappointment, she kept herself focused on food and only food. She answered whenever Rose or William started a conversation with her; otherwise, she kept herself busy, particularly with her breakfast only.
Steve was getting irritated now as it was the first time in his existence that some girl disregarded his presence like this, not to forget in the very first meeting.
After finishing the breakfast, William and Steve left for their respective work, and Rose got busy in conversation with Eva
“So dear, what’s your plan for the day?”
"Hmm... nothing much. I will arrange my clothes in the cupboard and then talk to my friends and dad and then binge some shows.”
“Ooh well, don’t worry about the clothes; they will manage that, I want you to explore LA with me and that reminds me when you are going to join the classes.“
“From the coming Monday."
“Ooh! Then you have only one day in your hand. I think we should hurry now. Get ready fast. You should have some fun before you get busy with your classes.”
"Ok," Eva left for her room. She got ready in another set of jeans.
Soon both the ladies started their journey. Rose wanted to buy some college wear for Eva. Rose knew if she told her beforehand , then she will never agree to even come out with her, so she visited some tourist place first, then she will trick her for shopping
Soon they reached Olvera Street, another LA attraction, which provides the perfect combination of history and divine entertainment. Eva was excited to explore a new place. She was looking at the shops in awe, noticing the collection of art.
Rose was glad that Eva liked the place. They stroll in the street, observing the different shops. It was near lunchtime when Rose took her to a mall, making an excuse to have lunch. Eva was hesitating as she knew that the lunch must be in some expensive place and of course rose will pay for her too, but she was helpless in this situation as she didn’t want to hurt rose by refusing her
After an hour, both of them were sitting at a restaurant enjoying their lunch. Rose was relieved that Eva didn’t refuse lunch, at least. While having lunch,“ she started the major topic
"Eva dear, there are many wonderful stores on the first floor of this mall. I thought it would be nice if we could get some clothes for your college. I mean classes.”
Eva gave a surprising look at Rose, then started her conversation in a polite tone. " "Actually, I don’t need to go shopping as my dad already bought me many dresses; it includes many casual clothes too. So…”
Rose gave a reassuring smile to Eva. “Okay, fine, but you can still accompany me to the stores for my shopping.“
Eva agreed with this. Rose took a sigh as Eva was a replica of her mother, a hard nut to crack. The memories of her best friend were again recollected by Rose.
