He wanted to take this ride with me, and I was elated. I wiggled, and my semi-flopped around. Giggling, I felt like I was a teenager with their first love, and it felt so good. After a few more minutes of patting myself on the back, I realized I didn’t bring anything to shave with. I looked around the bathroom.
On the counter was a gift box filled with men’s toiletries. There were razors, shaving cream, deodorant, an electric razor, and other things you could use to groom yourself. There were also two bottles of lube and a bag to store everything in. A note was attached.
Nothing could make you sexier, but here are my favorite things when I freshen up! – xoxo
I noted that lube was on his list of favorites, the things that man does to me. I grabbed the little scissors, razors, and shaving cream. I kept myself nicely groomed, but it had been a while since I hadsomeone close to my parts. I trimmed and washed everything, giving myself a long, slow stroke. Everything felt smooth, and the hair I left was soft and fluffy. I felt my happy area was as tidy as the rest of me.
I exited the shower, wrapped a towel around my waist, then shaved my face. I should have gotten a haircut, but it looked good. A little gray was going through it, but people said it made me more handsome. I was only four years older than River, but I felt he put me to shame.
The bathroom was still warm, and I realized I forgot to bring clean underwear. Still wearing a towel, I looked out the bathroom door, grabbed my clothes, and hurried into River’s office, closing the door. I went in and found underwear. There were nice black ones from Jockey’s luxury line. I grabbed those and put them on.
My skin was dry enough to get dressed. I was extremely excited about tonight. I've wanted to go to this restaurant for years but had yet to get a reservation. I still wondered how River got one so quickly. I slipped on my shoes, put on my cufflinks, and tied my bowtie. I took a selfie and sent it to Matt. Checking the clock, it was 7:00 p.m. I walked into the living room.
Do I look ok?
Matt: Ok?? You look great. I’d jump you if you weren’t my best friend and I wasn’t in love with someone else.
I don’t know what to say to that. Thanks, I guess.
Matt: You are most welcome. Go, get him, tiger.
That is my plan. Can I ask for a personal, not an assistant, favor? Can you make sure the hotel has nice pajamas in the room for us? Stuff like you got for the gift box.
Matt: That was more than a box. Yes, I can do that because I haven’t seen you this excited in years. Consider it done.
Thank you!! You are the best, and I hope I don’t talk to you until Monday!
Matt: Me too!
Ok. The hotel was ready, and River had dinner managed. I might have this romance thing figured out. Without looking, I knew River had come up behind me.
I turned around and staggered. What is a word bigger than gorgeous? That is what I saw.
“I. You. I, you…” I couldn’t form words. I’ve seen many men in tuxedos. I’ve had women say they would see a man wearing certain clothes, and they would swoon. I never got it. How could what someone was wearing make you feel anything?
It appeared I was wrong; I felt all kinds of things. There was no blood anywhere but in my dick. I was surprised I didn’t pass out. “We. You. I.” Maybe I was having a stroke. I literally couldn’t form words. I was pleased you couldn’t see my hard-on through my tuxedo pants. Those fancy underwear did a great job.
He took my hands and leaned in so I could feel his breath down my neck. “I think you look amazing too.”
It was my turn to be awkward. I just grinned stupidly. We were wearing identical Armani tuxedos, both tailored to perfection, his accentuating his slim waist and powerful shoulders. I walked over to him and straightened his bow tie, hoping I was able to speak. “You look fantastic. I am going to be the envy of all the people tonight. I’ll have the hottest guy on my arm.” He kissed me.
“I think it’s the other way around.” River’s phone let him know that someone was on the way up. I assumed it was Rodney.
The door opened, and Rodney stepped out. He made a long, low whistle. “Look at you two.”
I introduced them to each other. They shook hands, and Rodney started to fangirl about Hot Shots.
River went and got the bags he had the other day. “I told your uncle to give you these, but he said I should do it.”
“You already gave me all the neat Hot Shots swag. I’ve bragged to all my baseball friends that my uncle was your friend.”
“Boyfriend.” We said in unison.
“Oh! Well, my bragging rights just went up.”
“Take a look in the bags, Rodney.” I nudged him towards the table where River put the items. “We must get going in about twenty minutes, but I want to see what you think.” I sat down across from him as he started taking out the gifts.
“Daisy. Charlie. Come say goodbye.” River said without thinking about the commands. Daisy stuck her head out of one of the sleeping boxes. Charlie followed behind her. They seemed to have become great friends, always sleeping in the same box or cuddling together on the furniture. They both flew over and landed on Rivers' shoulders.
