“That was low, Boss.” He glares at Luca as he walks around the couch to sit with us.

“You would have pulled the same thing if he was the one holding her,” Harkin scoffs, sitting on the other couch next to us.

I look around for Mateo and find him inspecting the fire station. He looks so out of place in his pressed slacks and dress shirt.

“Bella? You didn’t answer me.”

“What? Oh. Yeah. There was a small magic fight in the middle of town. The cops came and took them away.” I shrug. “I don’t think we have to worry about them anymore. And if they ever do come back, I have a new friend who can take them down all by herself. She’s pretty awesome. I wanna be like her when I grow up.”

“Who’s your new friend?” Jett asks.

“Alyssa. You know her? She’s so badass and takes no shit.”

“Yeah, Alyssa’s fairly well known around here,” Harkin says.

“We told you the people of Silver Springs take care of each other.” Luca brushes his fingers through my hair as he smiles at me.

“I think that makes me officially a Springer.” I chuckle.

I’ve finally found my place in the world. It only took a cursed mayor, two deranged witches hunting me, and the love of four irresistible men. But I couldn’t be happier.
