“I have been having them all morning too,” Betty says as Jimmie continues to rub her belly.

“It will all be over soon. Do you remember when we were looking over the Zeus and Hades files a few weeks ago, and Blayne, you noticed that all the guys were born within 48 hours of each other?”

“What about it?” she asks.

“Summer just went into labour,” I tell them, and Blayne’s face lights up.

“So you mean these pains are labour pains?” Betty asks.

“I think so,” I say with a shrug. “It makes sense. It can’t be a coincidence that it happened with both teams. I can call Marlow and ask him to look at other teams, but none are genetically linked like mine.”

“No, it’s fine,” Blayne says, texting away on her phone. “Just giving the guys a heads up to free up their schedules for the next two days.”

Once she places her phone down, Colt comes racing into the café, sheer terror on his face. I have to hold in a laugh because I don’t think I have ever seen the guy without a smile.

“Van just called me and said you were in labour. Do we need to go to the hospital or is it too late? I watched lots of videos. I can do it. Who has a shirt and a shoelace?”

We all laugh, and he looks around the table. “He was fucking with me, wasn’t he?”

“Kind of. Summer is having her baby, and we think we will all be next. I’m not convinced because you had the twins weeks ago and you are younger than both teams,” Sinclair says, thinking logically.

Colt joins Trace and Laughn while the rest of us have brunch and talk about all the crazy things that have happened to me since being back. This might not have been what I would’ve picked for myself, but there is no way I would change it. The guys and I have a long way to go to make our relationship work, but we keep trying every day. It’s not easy navigating ten men and two babies, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
