I arched, throwing my head back and reveling in the sensation of our shared release for a long moment before I eased off his cock and rolled onto my back.
Utterly spent and satisfied, I stared up at the ceiling and tried to calm my ragged breathing. After darting a glance over at Dean out of the corner of my eye, I flicked my gaze back up to the ceiling and caught my bottom lip between my teeth, nibbling on it. It was a nervous habit I had never been able to get rid of.
Dean propped himself up on an elbow and looked down at me with a slight frown that pinched his eyebrows together and tugged his lips down at the corners. “What’s wrong?”
“Nothing’s wrong, exactly. I just…well, you know how awkward I can be.”
Dean raised one eyebrow at me and shook his head. “I thought we already established pretty damn well that you don’t have to feel awkward around me, especially not after what we just shared.”
I blew out a quick sigh, releasing some of the tension in my chest and smiled at him. “I don’t know what you have planned today, and I wasn’t sure how to handle the whole ‘should I let you know that you don’t have to leave anytime soon’ thing, I guess.” I felt so weird for just blurting it out like that, but Dean smiled and stroked my cheek.
Then he wrapped his arms around me, cuddling me close and pulling the blanket over us. “It doesn’t matter what I had planned for today. No way in hell am I going anywhere now that I’ve got you right where I want you. I’m definitely staying.”
“Good. I’m glad.” Grinning, I nestled back against him with a contented sigh and let my eyes close as I breathed in his scent. I wasn’t a nap person, but something about falling asleep in Dean’s arms just felt right.

It didn’t matter that I’d spent the past twenty-two hours in bed with Vienna—after a quick run to the drug store for a box of condoms. When I woke up the next morning, the last thing I wanted to do was leave. But all of the work I’d put off yesterday was waiting for me. Tightening my arms around Vienna, I groaned, “I better get going, or else I’m never going to leave.”
“Boo!” She pressed a kiss against my chest. “Zero stars. Do not recommend.”
“That better not be your review of my sexual prowess.”
Her whole body shook as she giggled. “I’m pretty sure all the times I screamed your name covered how much I enjoyed what you did to me in bed.”
“I don’t know, you could’ve been faking it,” I teased, knowing damn well that she hadn’t been. Not with how hard her pussy had clamped around my cock.
She tilted her head back and rolled her eyes. “I’m not that good of an actress.”
“Glad to hear it.”
I cupped the back of her head as I did an ab curl so I could claim her lips in a deep kiss. We moaned in unison when my tongue swept inside her mouth, my cock hardening at her sweet taste. The whimper of protest she let out when I ended the kiss just about killed my resolve. And it didn’t help when she whispered, “Are you really sure you have to go?”
“Unfortunately, yes.”
“Fine,” she huffed, flopping on her back onto the mattress. “But you’re on your own when it comes to getting out of bed. My body aches in places I didn’t know could be sore, so I’m going to count our sex marathon as my workout for today. Although I should probably call the rink to let them know I’m not using my time today and that it’s okay if someone else wants to skate on my dime. I wouldn’t want them to worry since it’s the first day I’m supposed to be there.”
“Was I too rough on you, princess?” I asked, stroking my finger down her cheek.
“Not even a little bit. I enjoyed every minute of earning these twinges,” she assured me with a sassy grin. “So much so that I’m seriously considering tackling you so we can do it all over again instead of letting you leave.”
I brushed my thumb against her bottom lip. “Hold that thought for tonight.”
She nipped the pad of my thumb. “Is that your way of asking me out for another date?”
I wanted a fuck of a lot more than just one more date, but I wasn’t sure Vienna was ready to hear that yet.
“If you want to think of it that way and are planning to agree, I’m not gonna argue,” I murmured, claiming her mouth for another kiss before I forced myself to let her go.
Sliding off the mattress, I turned to stare down at her. Beaming a sleepy smile at me, she nodded. “Yes, I’d love to see you tonight.”
“Count on it, then.” I grabbed my pants from where I had eventually hung them over the back of a chair. After pulling them on, I reached for my button-down shirt.
Her soft laughter drew my attention back to the bed. Her brown eyes were full of humor. “Have fun doing the drive of shame in the same clothes you were wearing yesterday.”
“At least they’re clean after my impromptu shower,” I teased. “And hardly anyone except for you had the chance to see me in them yesterday.”
