Chapter Sixteen
Bambi

I’M SOUND ASLEEP WHENthe ringing of my phone wakes me up. Groaning, I roll over and reach for it. My hand lands on a muscular chest and I open my eyes.
Goose is laying beside me in his bed. I crawl over him to grab my phone when he grabs my hips.
“Leave it and get back in this bed with me.”
I laugh as he pulls me down to kiss me. His hands hold my face as he passionately kisses me.
My phone rings again, and he growls. “Answer it so I can fuck you, baby.”
I grab my phone and swipe to answer as Goose nibbles my neck. I swat him away, “Hey, Savannah! What’s up?”
“I didn’t know who else to call...”
I push Goose off me and sit up in bed. “What’s going on? Is it Lloyd?”
“No. Olivia came in last night and when I came in this morning her car was still in the parking lot... with blood smeared on the driver’s door.”
“Fuck. Okay, get to the clubhouse and let the guys know I told you to come there. Goose and I will be there soon.”
I hang up and turn to Goose. He quickly gets out of bed and gets dressed.
I run to the bathroom to fix my hair, then run down the stairs. Goose is already in the kitchen waiting for me. We lock up and hop onto his bike.
I wrap my arms around him as he flies around the curves of the road toward the clubhouse.
Two Prospects are guarding the gate and quickly open it as Goose flies into their compound.
I can see Savannah and Hawk arguing near her car. As soon as Goose has the motorcycle parked, I jump off and run over. Stepping in the middle of them, I turn to Savannah.
“Let’s get inside and we can talk, okay?” She just nods as I guide her in and sit her down at a bar stool. “Alright, babe. Tell me what’s going on.”
Savannah takes a deep breath and pulls out a small piece of paper from her purse.
“I had thought it was weird that her car was still there but thought maybe she had gone home with... somebody.” She looked up at Goose and I felt a drop in my stomach. “Anyway... I parked next to it in my spot and got out when I noticed that there was something red on the handle. I walked over and saw that there was blood smeared all inside her car and this note was stuck in the door handle.”
She hands it to me and Goose grabs it before I can even see it. He frowns as he reads it then turns to Sav.
“I want you to stay here, Savannah. Some shit is going down and now you’re involved.”
She stands up and shakes her head. “I can’t! I’ll be fine at home, don’t worry.”
Hawk growls and gets closer. “Just listen to Goose, okay?”
He turns to me and Savannah, anger in his eyes. Savannah turns away from him.
