"Half past six." Lifting his freehand, he brushed back the hair that was like silk to the touch, fromher cheek. "I am usually up by five when I get my workout andcheck the stocks." His touch lingered and he wanted so much toget back in bed with her. Just slide in and make love to her untilthey were mindless. "You don't have to get up."

A blush stained her cheeks, and her eyesslid away from him.

"Jazmine?" Tucking his fingersunder her chin, he forced her to look at him. "Do you want me toapologize?"

"No." She bit her lip.

"I know you're vulnerable and I shouldhave stayed the hell away from you-"

"I did not want you to."

He blew out a breath and felt the tensionslowly uncoiling. That had been his worry, that she would wake up andwonder what the hell she had done.

"Then what?"

"Your sister?"

He jolted in surprise. "What abouther?"

"She's my best friend and you're herbrother."

"And?"

"She's not going to be pleased."

"We don't know that."

"Could we just keep it between us?"

He opened his mouth to disagree but was notproof against the plea in her marvelous eyes. Eyes he felt as if hewas drowning in.

"All right." He sighed. Bendinghis head, he rubbed his lips against hers, feeling the heat when sheresponded immediately. Her arms came around his neck and with atortured groan, he slid his hand around her waist and pulled her intohim.

When she whispered his name, he weakenedand almost gave in to the urge to slide into her.

"I have to go and since you want tokeep us a secret-" There was a hint of disapproval in his tonethat had her touching his cheek.

"For now."

He sighed and shook his head. "Whenyou look at me like that, I can agree to anything." He handedher the coffee.

"Thanks."

"Will you come to me tonight?"

She nodded, her eyes shimmering.

"Good. I have no idea how the hell Iam going to keep my hands and eyes off you. It was a tough job beforeand now that I have a taste of you, it's going to be impossible."He kissed her again and savored that taste deep inside his throat.

"All right, I'm going."

He left the room but could not resistturning to look at her. She was in his bed, all rumpled from sex andsleep, and he felt his body responding alarmingly. Stepping out, heclosed the door with a firm snap and was on his way down the stairswhen he saw his sister coming up. Taking a quick look up the stairs,he started to say something to her, when he saw the evidence of tearson her cheeks.

"Zoo, what's wrong?"

"Nothing." She started to passhim, when he placed a firm hand on her arm.

"That's not going to fly. I was justabout to grab some coffee and go for my run. Join me." Withoutwaiting for a response, he dragged her down the steps and into thekitchen.
