But I didn’t change my rhythm.

Sweat formed on my brow.

I could see it glisten on the back of her neck.

She was shaking now, keening under her breath and holding onto the front edge of her desk as if it was the only thing keeping her grounded.

I began to move faster, and she started to moan, low, continuous sounds that fed into my hunger.

Harder. Faster.

Our flesh slapped together, and she cried out as an orgasm hit her hard and fast. With her body still shaking, I didn’t hold back any longer, letting my own climax blast out of me as I drove into Mila’s cunt.

Yeah. I was sure as hell getting lost in her.

* * *

I hadFriday and Saturday off this week.

Mila had suggested maybe I come by, but I’d declined. If I did that, the other bodyguard who watched her while I was off would wonder why.

If word got back to my boss that I was sleeping with the client, I was out of a job. Maybe that should have made me a little more cautious, but I couldn’t seem to help myself around Mila.

We weren’t romantically involved – there was nothing about this but sex. I could still do my job and sleep with her.

It was, of course, bullshit.

I was compromised as hell but told myself that it didn’t matter. There had been no attempts to harm Mila. Whatever it was her dad was worried about, there didn’t seem to be anything going on that involved her. Other than the time she’d gotten cramped up while swimming, she hadn’t been in any danger at all.

How are you going to recognize if she’s in danger when you’re buried in her pussy? The logical part of me kept rearing its ugly head, but I still wasn’t ready to let things end between us.

The conflict going on inside me was one that had hounded me ever since we started this…whatever it was. I’d hoped my uneasiness about it would fade, or maybe I wouldn’t want her so much, and then I could take a step back.

But it seemed I wanted her more every day, not less.

Ready for a break away from all of it, when Jake asked me if I wanted to go out and have a beer with him that night, I said yes.

I didn’t seem to be able to escape what was haunting me though. And Jake noticed.

“Everything okay with the job?” he asked after the server put two beers down then walked off.

I glanced at him. “Why do you ask?”

My cousin shrugged. “Well, you’ve hardly said two words today. You’re grim about something. Since you’re not seeing anybody…” He stopped and cocked his head. “Areyou seeing somebody?”

I had no intention of saying anything to him, but to my surprise, the answer shot from my mouth. “I’m sleeping with the woman I’m supposed to be guarding.”

Jake blinked.

Then he straightened in his chair and reached for his beer, draining it. Once he put it down, he pinned me with a hard look. “Did you say you’resleepingwith the woman you’re guarding?”

I nodded and looked away, braced for the lecture that was sure to come.

But Jake stayed quiet.

Finally, I looked at him, and he shook his head. “You could be asking for a lot of trouble there, Liam. But I suspect you know that.”

“Hell. Yes.” I drained my beer and flagged down the server. I had a sudden desire to just get wasted. “I still can’t seem to help myself.”
