“What the fuck?” Mason glanced at Carmine.
Fucking pretty boy,my Corsican thought.
Suddenly, I didn’t know how it happened, but my Corsican had our hand out. Th words were tumbling out of my mouth before I could stop them. “Bend to me…”
Mind over matter,I thought.
I found my brother dropping to his knees, his face twisting in agony.
“Was it fun?” The voice ripped out me. “To tease me over what is mine?”
Hey,I thought.What are you doing?
Mason began to look back and forth between Carmine and myself, his face unsure of what was happening. I could smell the fear in the room.
“Stooopppp it,” Carmine began to cry out in pain.
“What the fuck are you doing?” Mason asked, still confused. “Matteo, what are you doing?”
My Corsican was still pissed off and waiting for an answer. “Not until he answers me.”
You’re truly hurting him,I whispered.
Shut the fuck up. You’re weak,my dark entity spat out. They must kneel before me.
“Matty you have to stop, whatever you’re doing you’re hurting him,” Mason’s voice became frantic.
“Do not flirt with Rain again,” my voice roared out sounding so extremely foreign. My fingers began to curl as if they were wrapping around something invisible.
Carmine dropped to his knees clawing at his throat. He began to gasp for air…
It was then my entity left the chat. He slipped out of my mind and retreated to wherever it was that he went.
I stumbled back, rocking on my heels trying to steady myself.
“What in the fuck!” My brother’s blue eyes stared into my own.
Carmine’s skin had turned so red, and Mason’s face was worried as he helped him to his feet.
Staring at my hands, I could barely recognize them. Suddenly, I was grabbing my gym bag and leaving my brothers behind. “I’m…I’m sorry.”
Mason called out to me, but it fell on deaf ears. I wanted and needed to be alone because I was terrified of what was inside of me. I’d gone from being the normal brother to being a fucking weirdo with something I couldn’t control.
Scrambling, I got out of the Carmine’s house feeling claustrophobic, as if the walls were caving in. I swerved around through traffic with Mason blowing my phone up but I kept hitting the end call button.
I didn’t want to think about how I’d just choked my brother.
I think, fear was seeping in like a tea bag in hot water.
When I was finally home and alone taking a shower, I started to relax. The buzzing that was usually present when I let my Corsican out wasn’t around. I figured he didn’t want to talk and I was fine with that. There was nothing he could say that would make me alright with what he’d just done.
Throwing on some old sweats, I finally crashed on the couch. I was tired and a yawn popped out of my mouth. Sparing with two full strength Corsicans had me ready to pass out. Putting a movie on low, my eye lids got heavier than they’d gotten in a long time.
I could feel myself dreaming….
