Chapter Ten

Colton

Emma sat down across from me. She looked like she’d just come from work, but she was dressed cute.

I liked her looking a little more natural, anyway.

I smiled. “Well… I was here on business and got lucky enough to find Marilyn on Instagram. So I reached out to her.”

“Business? What do you mean? Did you plan this with her?” Emma laughed.

Her smile was so beautiful.

“It was Marilyn’s idea. Surprising you. I figured she would know if it was a good idea, so… I went with it.”

Emma smiled even wider. “I’ve missed you so much, I… I felt so stupid, not leaving you my number! I thought we’d see each other again!”

“I had to come up here for business. I hated leaving without seeing you again.”

“Business?”

I smiled. “I’m expanding my club to have a New York location.”

“Wait… your club?”

I laughed and shrugged. “The club where we met? I own it. And it’s been very successful, so… I wanted to expand.”

Emma’s jaw dropped. “I… I had no idea you owned it!”

“I don’t usually broadcast it. When I’m just the DJ, people don’t ask me for perks.”

She nodded. “That makes sense. So… so you’ll be here more?”

I nodded. “I will. I hired Marilyn, actually, to manage the club. She knows what people want from their nightlife experiences.”

Emma grinned. “That’s a perfect job for her. And… what about you? Will you stay here?”

“I’m going to be splitting my time while we get the new location up and running. So… we can see each other.” I chuckled. “And I’m getting your number before we say goodbye tonight.”

Emma blinked. “Oh, are we saying goodbye tonight?”

“Only if you want to.”

Her smile turned almost mischievous. I liked it.

“I think we’ll be saying goodbye tomorrow morning.”

Her apartment was cute. I didn’t have much time to look around, but there were definitely a lot of books, scattered throughout on different shelves.

She barely let me get my shoes off before she was on me, kissing my neck and pawing at the buttons of my shirt.

“Easy, easy,” I teased. “Didn’t realize I created a monster.”

“All I’ve been able to think about is fucking you again.” Emma looked up at me, finally getting my buttons undone and pushing my shirt open. “Do you know how much I’ve masturbated since we got home?”

I raised my eyebrows. “Now, that’s a nice thing to think about.”
