Raising my hands in defeat, I deflect her from the toy still positioned in my body, even if it is causing me to grow again at the thought of it there. “Are you going to stay out at the house for a few days?”

Taking the hint, thankfully, Carli answers. “Yeah. We don’t have to head back to help my sisters until Friday. I couldn’t handle any more of the lovey-dovey from Casper and Circe. We were choking on it. So I’m stealing away to your house for a few days.”

“Sounds good. I’ll get the staff out to do a shop. Maybe we can go out for dinner or lunch before you head out?”

“Yeah, sounds good.” She starts for the door. “It was nice to meet you, Tyler. And just a bit of a heads-up on our boy here. I’ve never seen him as anything other than the receiver. Count yourself special, mister.”

“Carli,” I grumble. Damn woman is incorrigible.

“Love you, manwhore.” Now that I’m semi-dressed, she steps up for a quick hug before exiting. “He’s beautiful,” she whispers.

“And so are you,” I tell her.

Stepping away with a wink, she calls out over her shoulder to Tyler. “Ask him about the boa incident. That answer, if given to me, will guarantee our friendship.” I don’t have to turn to know he’s questioning her last statement.

Closing the door and turning, I see him leaning on the couch with a mile-wide grin. With his legs crossed at the ankles, Tyler asks, “Boa?”

Shaking my head, I smile. “She’ll be the death of me someday.”
