Somehow my smile got wider, and tears began pouring down my cheeks.
“I know it’s going to be a sacrifice for you to come here to be with me, but I promise that I’ll do everything in my power to make sure you’re happy.”
I could feel the truth of his words through every molecule of my body.
“Will you marry me?”
A single word couldn’t contain the joy that thrummed through my mind, body, and soul, and yet, there wasn’t anything that conveyed my answer better. “Yes.”
Screams broke out around us, and I practically jumped out of my chair.
Everyone had stopped looking at the northern lights and were now watching us. Even Crystal and Alex were clapping and laughing.
Logan pushed his hand through his hair. “I really meant to do this in private.”
I stood, dragging him with me, and stepped into him. “I don’t mind.”
“You don’t?” He put his arms around me.
“Nope.” I went on my toes until our noses touched. “All I care about is that you’re here, with me, and that soon I’ll wake up with you by my side every day.”
“Amen to that.” Logan leaned down and kissed me.
