I don’t need to speak this fact out loud. My husband understands.
He hugs me closer. “Thank you for saying yes.” He drops a kiss on top of my head. “Twice.”
Cale’s hand touches my slightly swollen belly.
I press my cheek to his chest and smile when I feel the strong, happy thud of his heart.
