The mail slot squeaked, and Amir got up to fetch whatever we’d gotten. He held up an envelope when he walked back into the nest. “Callie, you have a letter from your bank.”
I reached out for it and ripped it open, freezing as I read the words. “Oh my god. OH MY GOD!”
“What is it?” Kai leaned over to read it, the rest of the pack hovering around me.
“They released the account! That’s another sixty thousand for the business.” I opened up the app and immediately transferred over the daily limit to my personal account. It would take a while to get everything out of there, but Jerry was in no position to take anything else from me ever again. I wiggled excitedly, throwing my hands in the air. “Best day ever!”
My pack crowded around me, Amir nuzzling my cheek. “Best day ever so far.”
My feet ached from the all-day shoot. Amir helped me out of my shoes, insisting he would do it, even though I was perfectly capable of wiggling out of them despite my six-months-pregnant belly.
I’d been getting pretty fucking good with the camera, and our company had ballooned the last couple of years into a steady income that more than met all our needs. We were still focusing on recorded heats and livestreams, but VIP viewers were all gifted swatches of the performers’ scents to enrich the experience. We even took the occasional turn on the set. Who knew people were willing to pay out the ass to watch a pregnant omega get railed? I shouldn’t have been surprised, but that first paycheck had been smoking hot and almost paid off our house.
Vegas was finally home in every way possible. The pack house was immaculate and enormous. It hadn’t been too difficult to convince me to move into one of the ten-bedroom places Miles had found, especially once my belly had started to show, cementing the reality that we had two little ones coming.
I heard soft voices coming from the courtyard and followed them, Amir at my side with his arm looped around my waist, to find the rest of our pack and our children sitting in the shade, lined up neatly in a row. Kai was adding rainbow baubles to Alice’s light brown pigtails that stuck straight out like little arrows. She looked up at me with giant blue eyes the same shade as Miles’s, grinning to show off her first missing tooth. Her twin, Daniela, was behind Kai, swiping a doll brush through his long hair, and Diego was behind her, carefully gathering her black ringlets into a ponytail directly on top of her head. She looked so much like him it was almost uncanny. Miles cradled a sleeping Yara, our sweet toddler who took after Amir in her looks but after me in temperament, always wanting to be held. All five of those awake looked up to see us enter, and the twins shot off like rockets, ruining their fathers’ styling work to cling to my legs.
“Mommy!” Alice rubbed her nose on my leggings, smushing her face against my thigh. “Did you bring cookies?”
“You bet I did.”
Amir scooped up both of the girls. “They’re in the kitchen. We have to wash our hands first. You can share one, and the rest are for tomorrow.”
Our daughter who had yet to make an appearance kicked me in the ribs like she wanted to let me know she needed attention. “Those are Mommy’s bones, not a bongo set.”
Kai grinned and drew me into a kiss, smoothing his hand over my belly. “Is my girl as demanding as her mother?”
I snorted. “Kailani has opinions and she needs me to know about them even before she’s out and about in the world.”
The twins wriggled excitedly in Amir’s arms and I kissed both of their cheeks before diverting to greet the rest of my alphas and our sleeping daughter.
“Don’t bend down. We’ll get up,” Diego said, hopping to his feet and pulling me into a kiss.
Kai took Yara from Miles so he could stand up, and a moment later I was surrounded. I relaxed instantly, all the strain of the day melting away when I breathed in their scents.
“Change into your swimsuit,” Kai suggested. “Get off your feet and float for a bit while I make you some dinner.”
“You’re an angel.”
Kai grinned and leaned close to whisper in my ear as he passed. “Only until I get you into bed later.”
My body lit up with the promise.
“If they’re wrangling the girls, does that mean you’re all ours, sweetheart?” Miles and Diego both looked at me like they were ready to eat me for a snack.
“Pretty sure that’s exactly what that means. Hope you boys fueled up because your omega needs some special attention from her alphas.”
Diego’s low growl had my pussy pulsing. I thanked the universe for the millionth time for helping me dodge the Jerry bullet so I could find what I had really needed all these years. Alphas who adored the shit out of me, and a family I deserved.
Finally.
